Quel lien entre l’annonce du ministre de l’Éducation nationale d’un retour de l’enseignement des quatre opérations mathématiques en CP et CE1 en France et la méthode dite « de Singapour » ? Pour répondre, le chercheur Rémi Brissiaud remonte à la période où Gilles de Robien était ministre de l’Éducation et Jean-Michel Blanquer son directeur de cabinet adjoint. Il montre finalement que la pédagogie du calcul en France ne peut pas être un copié-collé de celle de Singapour.
