"Chocolate Chip Cookies (Grandma Gloria's favorite recipe) Ingredients: • 1 cup margarine • 1 cup sugar • 2 eggs • 1 tsp vanilla • 1 1/2 cup flour • 1 1/4 cup quick rolled oats (dry oatmeal) • 1/4 cup wheat germ • 1 tsp baking soda • 1/2 tsp salt • 1/2 tsp cinnamon • 1 cup chocolate chips Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 325 F. 2. Cream together margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla 3. Combine dry ingredients: flour, rolled oats, salt, wheat germ, baking soda, cinnamon 4. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. 5. Add chocolate chips. 6. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet. 7. Bake at 325 for 12 to 14 minutes 8. (Grandma's secret to success: turn cookie sheets twice during baking time) 9. Makes 36 cookies "
