tout simplement parce que si on fait des groupements par 10, puis par 10x10 (c'est à dire si on compte dans notre base 10 habituelle)… on obtient 131. Pour obtenir un nombre supérieur à 131, il faut utiliser des paquets plus gros, c'est à dire écrire le nombre dans une base supérieure à 10.

je comprends mieux... si on décompose 131 en base 10 donc 1x10²+30+1=131! tout devient plus clair... !
