Le sens premier de "get lucky" est tout de même d'avoir de la chance et il est tout à fait possible de traduire la chanson avec ce sens premier, tout en ayant du sens, parce que, justement, je pense qu'il est indispensable que les élèves comprennent ce qu'ils chantent.

De manière générale, c'est aussi le sens que lui a donné le grand public et je pense que seuls les érudits en anglais connaissent le sens figuré de l'expression.

Je reviens sur le sujet car j'ai entendu pour la première fois la chanson en entier hier soir. OK si on veut ignorer le sens de "get lucky" dans la chanson. "We're up all night to get lucky" est parfaitement clair ; en revanche, je sens qu'il va y avoir quelques difficultés à faire comprendre autre chose que ce qui est dit dans :

- "I'm up all night to get lucky"

- "we're up all night to get some"

Je juge également indispensable que les enfants comprennent ce qu'ils chantent et là, la version alternative au véritable sens ne me semble pas convenir si on va plus loin que le titre.
