Mais rien n'indique que ces trains arrivent effectivement à mi-parcours exactement au même moment.

Si, c'est précisément ce que dit l'énoncé quand il dit qu'ils se rencontrent à mi-chemin (sauf que c'est pas des trains ... ;) ).

Merci beaucoup pour cette réponse. En fait j'avais bien fait le calcul avec un signe - mais me suis trompée en le recopiant (à ne pas faire le jour J !)

J'ai compris pourquoi on disait mi-chemin.
