The text I am going to summarize has been adapted from The times and published on the 28th of February 2006.

It deals with the childhood obesity crisis and more precisely with the governamental  "governmental" strategy to tackle this problem.

The journalist provides us the remarks of a report which denounces the time spent to implement efficient measures to struggle against obesity. Indeed, it strongly criticizes the numerous experts who " had" wasted 18 monthes to agree on the means to measure obesity. The journalist underlines that 3 years till the deadline which is 2010, are particularly short.

In the third paragraph, he evokes the increase in obesity percentage for 4 points from 1995 to 2003 and quotes Steeve Bundred, the chief executive of the audit commission who does a pessimistic remark. According to him, the children who suffer from obesity today risk  y a un problème avec ton to je tente "risk to note be able to live..."not to live as long as their parents.

Apparently, a strong leadership, clear strategies and money are missing for an efficient policy. Although numerous actions as reform of school meals in canteen, healthy school programme, have been implemented, the author seems to be sceptical, particularly about incentives to pratice sports. The report asserts that the children who need to loose weight won't be volunteer enough to such activities.

Moreover, this article points out the confusion between the teachers and the health professionnals about their roles

In the last paragraph, the journalist tells  us "je pense que us est de trop" that schoolS and sport ministers declared that a lot of money have been invested to implement the planed actions.

Is money sufficient ? This article is interesting because it reveales that the lack of leadershiph and organisation can delay the best initiatives.

France is not spared by this problem of the obesity crisis. The governement proved its involvement by including the healthcare education in the national programme. All french pupils have lessons about health in the scientific curriculum.

Nowadays, school has to cope with new challenges to reach its goals : to teach, to educate, to train, to allow children to grow in good health.

Ne pensez-vous pas que tout rédiger est impossible ?

merci pour vos corrections.

je me suis permis de te corriger, ton expression est bonne, mais parfois un peu maladroite, mais si tu sors ça assez facilement, c'est bon

Hello everybody! I'm happy to find this post because I'd like to writte and speak english before exam, if exam we have: I hope, so i work! for the moment i try to read many texts written in english, but my pronouncation is very bad and sad!!! and i red that correctors want us to seem to be happy! so I'd like to work with you edpiens! before résults, i prefer to work with internet and edp because i need persons who feel the same stress than me.

I think when we have to sum up the text, when we are able to do it, it's important to make a part wich talk about children and what we can do at school about this subject. because then correctors can ask us about school and pupils and what we can say to our class about the text. So we can explain in this post why we would like to become teachers in primary shcool. This is a question they often ask: so they see that we have thought about it, in englih words!!!

so do you agree to tell me, in english words, why you want to become a teacher?

then we can ask others questions we know they ask in general during the exam

sorry for this very bad english, but i try to amuse me with this part of the exam, i think it's important ...

bye bye and please answer my question!

hello vinette!

I think you're doing well although there are some mistakes in the writing but they don't appeat when we speak!

I'll send you a note about what to say in our exposé but I think you're quite used to this exercise since you went to the orals twice!

For my part, my dream is to become a teacher! I first wanted to be an English teacher  but the exam is too difficult so I turned to school teacher. I'd like to give children knowledge and manners and I think I'd be quite good in this job for I like searching for the reason why somebody doesn't understand something and being able to make him understand, it's so great! But I'm quite afraid of the new generation of children we're going to have in our classes... But I liked the stages I made so I'm determined to do my upmost to control them! :devil_2:

Then I also like holidays and I think it's important as I want to have children to have time to spend with them. And it's a secure job... but the concours is very hard!!! No not so hard but not enough places...

hello babluelita! i'm truelly happy to see your few words, even if you tell me that in my text there are some mistakes! it's normal because i did'nt write english since a long time. And as you said, they don't appear when we speak! so you speak english very well and it's not a part of the exam difficult for you! it's easier for you than for me who made history studdies.

I'm quite stressed for the english oral because of my experience: the first year, they (what's the english for jury?) gave me 15, i think because it was a literary text, it was easier for me who use to explain this kind of document! but the second year, they gave me 7!!! it was a text about internet in China!! not interesting at all for me! and difficult to read because of many numbers . So i'm srtessed.

personaly, i work with children since a long time, but i want to teach them everything they need to grow up. I work with them before and after school, and every wensday: but i play to them and i work for making them happy! we draw, we sing, we paint, we travell... but i want to become a teacher, to have my class, and to help them to progress!

i don't remember when we use preterit or present perfect: it's pathétic!!!!

i hope you will continue to answer me, because even if i'm bad, i like to speak english!!! and if you see oral mistakes: tell me (what's the english for corriger)

bye bye everybody!!!

Hello !

I'm not able to help you to correct your mistakes, but I would like to give you my answere about why I want to became a primary school teacher :

it's not always the same thing (I would like to say : it's not "répétitif", do you know how to say that ? I don't have this word in my dictionnary), when we are a theacher we are always obliged to adapt our-self at pupils, so it obliged to put back my-self in question (I want to say "me remettre en question") all the time and I know I'm able to do that. Also, be a teacher oblige to continue to cultivate myself, to be informed on a lot of things, all the time, that is important for me, to continue to learn all my life.

I like to organize myself how I do my work and it's possible with this profession when we organise programmations, progressions, and so on, with curriculums who are an help (I would like to say : "en fonction des programmes qui représentent pour moi une aide").

I like very much to work in team, I have an important experience in working in team.

And, to finish, I like to have interactions with people : pupils of course, but also pupils parents, educative team, territorials communitys : people who work in a museum for example.

What els ?

I think it's enought.

So, it's a very good thing to ask us to explain what are our motivations to became a teacher, do you think the jury often ask us about that ?

It's very nice to propose this question. I know I have to find the answer because I'm not sure to find the J's day. I lack of vocabulary despite my english lessons ! I like talking english but nobody can help me because they don't speak english !

I watch films in english and read twilight in english (I know, it's for teenagers) but if that can help me !

To answer your question, I want to become a teacher because I enjoy learn things et teach their to the others. To be a teacher means learn all the time about all. Moreover, I like working with the children et particulary the young children. I understand them and there is a good climate when I am with children. But, the more important is I want to teach that I learned when I was young, I want to help them when they will have difficulties.

Since I decided to be a teacher, I work everytime because I didn't have the good graduation (bac STT) but my teacher was with me and encourage me to become that I wanted. It's with my motivation I am here today and I don't want to stop now !!

I hope you understand because it isn't easy for me to write english, I do many mistakes !

Goodbye and thinks for give your opinion ...
