garwin Posté(e) 28 janvier 2007 Posté(e) 28 janvier 2007 hi everybody!! I just wanted to point out that an other topic exist on the forum, heading "groupe de travail". It's interesting too, others subjets are proposed like society questions.
navyblue Posté(e) 28 janvier 2007 Auteur Posté(e) 28 janvier 2007 Hello, hello everybody!! I can see my idea was quite good! That's all to the good! I cannot come here everyday but I will come from time to time. Today, I give you some questions which are in the first cned's subject ( be careful and good luck, because I thought it was a bit difficult) 1. What is your opinion as regars Victorian attitude : "childre seen, not heard"? 2. Would you think love and care is the same as permissiveness and negligence? 3. Would anyone defend parental laxity? 4. What would you define as the best parental attitude nowadays to help children grow up to be mature, responsible adults? 5. Should discipline be an actual part of school teaching? If I receive any correction about these questions, I will give you it ( or I 'll give it to you), for sure! And I want to thank Allie for helping us!! Have a good week-end!
navyblue Posté(e) 28 janvier 2007 Auteur Posté(e) 28 janvier 2007 Quickly, I want to come back on what Allie said...because it was a little mistake : we can say "on the one hand...on the other hand" not "in one hand"...
florenceloq Posté(e) 28 janvier 2007 Posté(e) 28 janvier 2007 Hello everyone... I don't really understand why you are trying to practise your english while writing on that post... A language is something you want to talk, don't you? And it's very difficult, very boring doing it that way... I'm sure that plenty of students will think "Wow, I cannot write in English properly" even if our test is ORAL.... Of course, you need to have good basis, sure!, but what you really need is TALKING! Anyway, the idea is good in a sense : you're sharing subjects, questions, etc... and so, it helps every one understanding what is this oral test. I am just telling you my feelings, I can be wrong... GOOD TO ALL OF YOU

I am just telling you my feelings, I can be wrong... GOOD TO ALL OF YOU YES, we have to speak, not only to write English...But it is another way to communicate when you want to learn new vocabulary, how to make a sentense without being too Frenchy, and if you want to think about different topics which could happen during the oral examination. As far as I am concerned, It is not easy to find someone who wants to chat with me in English about these topics...except on this forum. ( I am a "free candidate") No hard feelings!

Even if I practise my english while writting, I think it is a good exercice for me...actually, I have some difficulties to speak english very well...

My mistake Funny thing is that I never use the one/other hand expression, I shouldn't have told you to use it :P
navyblue Posté(e) 28 janvier 2007 Auteur Posté(e) 28 janvier 2007 Is someone interested by giving you some vocabulary about the textual commentary? I think it can be useful for the presentation. As you want, just tell me...
xtelle04 Posté(e) 28 janvier 2007 Posté(e) 28 janvier 2007 Navyblue, I am interested in its. Should I have to e-mail you? Your english is very good as your grammar. What kind of studies did you make ? Thanks for your help.
xtelle04 Posté(e) 29 janvier 2007 Posté(e) 29 janvier 2007 Navyblue, I'm trying to answer. At the moment, I still haven't open an english book! 1. What is your opinion as regars Victorian attitude : "childre seen, not heard"? Yes, of course ! No, I'm joking ! They didn't manage that children could learning by hearing. Like novice who learns in seeing and reproducing. I think that these sentence means : It doesn't matter to explain them how to do and why doing something, you just have to show them and say do it like that. Today, we know that hearing is as so important as seing and writting in initiation. Scientists saw that no body has just one memory (photographic, auditory or by writting) : We have the tree one but we develop/use the one which has, for ourselves, the better ratio between good results and parsimony! (I am the proof of that !). 2. Would you think love and care is the same as permissiveness and negligence? I don't understand the question. The answer is in the question how could you say that care is a synonym of neglicence (those are antonym) ? For me, the real discussion is in this question : Is love synonym of permissiveness ? And is permissiveness, neglicence ? It's depend on your philosophy. 3. Would anyone defend parental laxity? I think no one! Having children is a thoughful choice (I hope so!), so parents can't be laxity. My opinion is that they make confusions between love and permissiveness. Culpability ? No time ? 4. What would you define as the best parental attitude nowadays to help children grow up to be mature, responsible adults? To learn them how to become and in being autonom. 5. Should discipline be an actual part of school teaching? Yes and maybe too much ! If this work has been teaching at home too, it will be easier at school! In nursery school, children are learn the rules of the speaks (loi de la parole?), to get concentrate on a specific job.. Stop, I am too tired! It's just a beginning. Maybe, it is not really the subjects... but what I have understand and my opinion. I hope hearing from soon!
kaetline Posté(e) 30 janvier 2007 Posté(e) 30 janvier 2007 I'm sorry but you can't say "I am agree " but you've got to say "I agree" (negative form is "I don't agree") I'm not a teacher yet but I really want to (not an English teacher, even if I'm learning english ) but can you tell me what test I need to pass if I want to teach english at primary school? thank you and I hope C U later... :P
