This is my summary :

This audio document deals with a campaign which has been launched by the United Nations in order to urge the countries to do more in favor of the children affected by Aids.

This campaign is called "Unite for Children, United against Aids".

This document provides us with a few figures regarding the children infected with HIV :

In 2004, a sixth of the deaths due to Aids concerned people under the age of 15.

Moreover, sometimes, because one of their relatives is affected by Aids, children are denied schooling and health care.

15 million children have lost one of their parents because of Aids and most of the time they don't receive any support and have to live on their own and to struggle for life.

90% of the children infected with HIV live in South Africa, but the virus is also spreading among young people in Asia and Eastern Europe.

50% of the new HIV infections in the world concern people from 15 to 24 years old.

A few measures have been taken :

UNICEF aims at reducing by 25% within the next 5 years the number of new infections among young people.

Less than 5% of children with HIV receive treatments and Unicef also aims at increasing that number.

According to UN officials, a large amount of the money used to fight aids should be used for children.
