Thank you for all your answers I think it is very important to help each other. I'll try to learn grammar as soon as possible but english is the last exam I'll pass so I study more "oral pro" and sport than foreign languages.

What do you think about speaking about a subject for exemple : Why is it important to learn english at school?

I begin : First English is one of the more speaking language in the world and it is important for international relations to speak english. I also think that learning foreign languages in general is important to discover other cultures and countries. And finally, people travel more than before and so it is important for this travels to speak english .

Your turn

To pass an examination = réussir un examen so you have to say "to take an examination"

You can't use "speak" (= blablabla !!!), you should better use "talk about".

"This travels" is not correct -----> travel (mot indénombrable qui s'emploie sans article et normalement au singulier)

MERKI !!!!!!!!!!

Hello everybody ! How ya doin' (if you know Joey, in "Friends") ?

I would say "english is one of the more spoken language" instead of "speaking language", but I might be wrong ? What do you think ?

This post is a very good idea, so we could improve our english while chatting !

I watch a lot of movies in english in order to improve my english. Furthermore, I'm a huge fan of "Friends" : if you like a lot the show and if you know well the seasons, you can watch it in english version, with english subtitles, it's great !

Have a good day !

Yes, of course ! You can do it step by step (??) :

- in french.

- in english with french subtitles.

- in english with english subtitles.

- in english !

And if you want to learn another foreign language, you can watch it in english with spanish subtitles, for example ! (I'm joking, of course ! :D )

Do you know where the examination will take place ? In the IUFM? And then where is the IUFM in Blois?

Thanks everybody for your answers

Hello,

first welcome on the forum !!

I can correct some of your mistakes but I'm not a reference in english !!

Instead of for progress, you may say to progress (to is said to exprim the objectiv)

Instead of 19 june, you may say the 19th of june (en anglais on parle du 19ème jour du mois)

I think that little is only used to explain the height. Here you may say a few moment.

I hope a helped you and I make mistakes too!!!

Good luck

Julie

Hello everybody !

I was not so frightenned by this exam until I saw a friend going out of his exam.

I thought I was ready. Indeed during the year, I have watched films in english and this last month, I have read Vocable.

And finally, I think I am not ready at all ...

The problem is that I think I just can't answer a question without taking a while.

It is so hard !!!

PS : sorry for the mistakes !

Hi everyone ! I come back with juju'subject (i think it her's) "why is it important to learn english at school ?" In my mind, it's very important to learn english because thanks to this language you could be understood everywhere you leave so it's easier for you ! It's also very important, because, nowaday,it's a big advantage to kwow some english to work. I think it also important that children start to learn english quiete young because it's when they're young that they can learn the most easily foreign languages. In my opinion, it's also a good thing to speak english because you can leave in england and talk with lot of people, and I love this country !
