Comme deux autres personnes sur ce post, j'ai eu le texte "premier jour d'école" de Sally . Texte très simple (attention c'est mon avis) donc j'ai parlé comme j'ai pu (ou la là l'accent) mais le jury a eu l'air de me comprendre car a un moment ou je cherchais un mot (pour dire aider) la dame m'a lancé "help" et c'était ce satané mot qui me fuyait, que je cherchais.

J'ai échanger quelques phrases (pour la première fois depuis les oraux) avec une gentille jeune fille dans la salle d'attente

Voilà !!

Donc je confirme pour les "nuls" en anglais comme moi que c'est faisable.

Passée à Montpellier aujourd'hui, un sujet sur l'origine des difficultés qu'ont les enfants avec la maîtrise du langage: de la faute de l'école (du point de vue des programmes anglais), ou de la faute des parents qui laissent trop leurs enfants seuls devant des écrans ?

Voilà, pas très original, et a priori ça n'inspirait pas mon jury !

J'ai passé l'anglais auj à Bonneuil. J'ai eu un texte qui parlait de l'augmentation de la violence chez les filles (même texte que Célinette).

Au niveau des questions :

- expliquer le titre. Il y avait un jeu de mot entre "she" et "hero"...

- comment peut-on enrayer la violence chez les filles ?

- pensez-vous qu'en France, les filles sont également de plus en plus violentes ?

- quel est le dernier film que vous avez vu au cinéma ?

- quel est votre film préféré ?

J'ai compris le texte et les questions... Mais mon anglais n'est pas très riche en vocabulaire, ni très fluide...

"I don't know if I'm getting something out of it," he said.

"I'd rather not do it. I don't think life would be bad without homework."

Some head teachers in the UK agree and are experimenting with no-homework policies.

Malsis School, an independent prep school in North Yorkshire, adopted such a policy two years ago.

Its head teacher, Christopher Lush, said: "This is not a question of banning homework as deciding it was inappropriate.

"At the end of a long, busy school day it's not necessary that children should be forced to sit down and do homework or prep.

Instead of homework, the school, which has a significant boarding community, uses evenings to offer children an array of clubs and activities.

Mr Lush says the evening is a time when most children are far from their best in terms of producing high quality academic work.

"Children should be allowed to experience the joy of childhood and have time for play and activity, to develop human qualities, and develop talents and interests that will last them a lifetime."

Roy Tedscoe, a head teacher at Coleraine Park Primary School in Tottenham, London, says homework will continue to be an integral part of his pupils' learning experience. He believes it underlines the learning that takes place in school.

"It's a handy assessment tool for teachers in order for them to understand their pupils. In addition, it's a very good home-school link."

Current government guidelines on the amount of homework children should have range from at least an hour a week for five to seven-year-olds to two-and-a-half hours a day for pupils aged 14 to 15.

Like Mr Tedscoe, the government is very keen on homework, believing it is the equivalent of an extra year's schooling and a way of involving parents in what schools are doing.

But is there any evidence that homework actually does anything for attainment?

The time for that, he believes, is earlier in the day when they are fresher.

"In other words we offer a better learning experience all round. We maintain very high academic standards but there is more to education than being schooled for examinations," he said.

"Children should be allowed to experience the joy of childhood and have time for play and activity, to develop human qualities, and develop talents and interests that will last them a lifetime."

The latest report on the school by the Independent Schools Inspectorate says pupils do perform to a high standard in all academic subjects.

What is not helpful is where students have to do so much homework that they have no time for other activities

A recent study by the Institute of Education, University of London, suggests that homework can create anxiety, boredom, fatigue and emotional exhaustion in children, who resent the encroachment on their free time, even though they think homework helps them to do well at school.

The report's author, Dr Susan Hallam, says that while homework can enhance examination results, its impact is relatively small compared with the students' prior knowledge in a particular subject.

"What is not helpful is where students have to do so much homework that they have no time for other activities or where homework is not planned so that they are sometimes overwhelmed," she said.

"This leads to anxiety, which in itself is detrimental to learning."

But for students on the borderline between grades, Dr Hallam believes it may make a difference to the grade that they get.

"The important thing about homework is that it should be set because it has a meaningful purpose in relation to the learning of the students not just because it is on time table," she said.

"Teachers and schools need to make a judgement about whether it's important in relation to the learning needs of particular groups of students."

Je suis tombée sur un article du times magazine du 12/09/2005 relatif à l'ouragan Katrina. La journaliste dénonce la passivité du gouvernement et des secours.

Suit une multitude de questions aussi diverses que variées sur le tsunami, la canicule en France, kyoto, ce qui pourrait etre fait en classe avec les enfants pour leur apprendre à respecter l'environnement....

Je ne sais pas trop comment je m'en suis sortie. le début était bien mais aprés ça partait dans tous les sens et je ne trouvais plus mais mot. Enfin ça y est c'est fait.... demain oral d'EPS....

Bonjour à tous,

Je suis passée à l'oral d'anglais à Bourg ce matin et j'ai eu le même texte que toi Aurore. Je pense avoir limité les dégâts : j'ai compris le texte, j'ai compris les questions du jury et j'ai tenté de leur répondre comme je pouvais avec mon vocabulaire de fin de 6ème .... Ce que j'ai particulièrement apprécié dans l'attitude du jury c'est qu'on a vraiment l'impression qu'ils sont là pour nous aider, c'est vraiment sympatique. Je sais que je n'aurai pas la moyenne mais au moins je ne suis pas sortie complètement démoralisée comme ça avait été le cas l'année dernière après l'oral d'histoire, c'est déjà ça ..... Pour moi, c'est fini, tous les oraux sont passés, je suis en vacances .... Bon courage à toutes celles et tous ceux qui bossent encore ... A +

C'était le jury n°2. Ca c'est bien passé mais j'ai passé un an aux US et fait une fac d'anglais et je me rends compte combien on perd en un an... Je visais l'habilitation, j'espère l'avoir mais je ne pense pas...

je voulais avoir s'il y quelqu'un qui a eu le jury 1 à st germain???? apparemment les jurys poserai des questions pédagogique ( quels compétences les enfants doivent atteindre)

sinon "point" c'est point mais de score comme l'eurovision et "dot" c'est bien le point de la ponctuation

sinon pour ceux qui s'énerve en parlant de l'égalité des chances, ca me fait bien rire!!!!!!!!! qui a dit que le CRPE était equitable pour tous? c'est un concours!!! dès qu'il s'agit d'oral ce n'est plus équilibré.....ce que tu dis peut plaire a un jury alors qu'a un autre ca ne plairait pas

ou encore une copine qui tombe avec un des ses profs de staps qui l'adorait l'année dernière tu crois qu'elle aura pas plus de chance que moi qui suis tombé sur mon prof de portugais de l'année dernière qui faisait toujours la tronche, je peux dire que ca m'a pas vraiment aider

Mouais, n'exagérons rien... le jury n'est jamais constitué que d'une personne, justement pour éviter les abus...

Si tu fais une vraie performance, même si ton prof pouvait pas te sentir, l'autre membre du jury contre-balance sa 'note sèche', si elle a lieu...
